Bobcat Trail Golf Club North Port

Bobcat Trail Golf Club has completed a major renovation this past summer. All new Champions Ultra-dwarf greens are rolling true and fast, providing a challenging and rewarding putting experience. The clubhouse has undergone an interior extreme makeover for a superior dining and club lounge atmosphere, and a first-class pro shop for local and visiting golfers.

The par-71 course plays at 6,748 yards from the tips, with four additional sets of tees to accommodate every skill level. Designed by 2003 Canadian Open Champion and former PGA Champion Bob Tway, and golf course architect Lee Singletary, "The Cat" is the epitome of "risk-reward" golf. The keys to scoring at "The Cat" are well placed drives on the wide, rolling fairways; accurate irons to the roper "shelf"; and imagination and steady nerves on and around the large, undulating, well-bunkered greens.

Because of the superior customer service and commitment to excellence by the entire staff, Bobcat Trail is the only course in Sarasota County rated 4-1/2 stars and considered a "must play" by Golf Digest - also designating it as one of Florida's Top 30 public golf courses. Bobcat Trail is conveniently located in North Port, 3 miles south of I-75 at exit 179 (old 32), on Toledo Blade Blvd.
