Quickie Tip
The Eagle Course at The Oaks Club in Osprey was designed by Arthur Hills and boasts the only wall-to-wall SeaIsles Supreme Paspalum turf grass in the country. In the fairway, the ball sits up almost like it was on a tee. But around the greens, it can be tricky to play. Tim Beckwith, the director of golf at The Oaks, offers the following tip on how to do it.
“When hitting pitch shots into the green, you can’t hit it in the fairway cut,” he said. “You have to hit them high and soft onto the green.”
