Laurel Oak Country Club Sarasota

Laurel Oak is Sarasota’s premier private golf and country club, with two Gary Player-designed golf courses that present challenges and rewards to golfers of all skill levels.

In 2005, golf architect Rees Jones, the highly acclaimed “Open Doctor”, will remodel the West Course at Laurel Oak. Jones and Player have different approaches to course design, and at Laurel Oak each will provide memorable rounds for years to come. Golf memberships are limited to only 600 for the club’s 36 holes, which means the average foursome completes play in about 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Laurel Oak’s architecturally distinctive clubhouse will also undergo an expansion in 2005. You don’t have to be a resident of the Laurel Oak community to join. To find out more, call Lana Murphy, Membership Director at 941-378-3399.

Golf at Laurel Oak is limited to 600 memberships for 36 holes. So you can play often, and play when you want to.

Laurel Oak is home to two of the area’s top five golf courses, designed by international, PGA and Senior PGA champion Gary Player. In 2005 renowned golf architect Rees Jones, widely known for his work on U.S. Open courses, brings a new dimension to the golf experience at Laurel Oak with his redesign of the West Course.

Many golfers who play at Laurel Oak do not live at Laurel Oak. Why? Simply stated, they know that no finer golf experience or country club value can be found in the Sarasota area. Try Laurel Oak for yourself. Call our Membership Director at 941-378-3399 to arrange a visit and discuss membership options.
